Anycast IPs on Your VPS
Your Own Anycast, No ASN Required
Anycast is normally reserved for organisations with their own ASN and IP space. Because we run our own network, you can announce a single IP from Poland, the USA, and Singapore at once — and build your own CDN or anycast DNS — starting from about €75/year.
A Fairly Unique Addon
With anycast, one IP address is advertised from multiple locations simultaneously. The internet's routing then delivers each visitor to the closest site automatically — the same mechanism that powers global CDNs and public DNS resolvers.
Doing this yourself normally means running your own autonomous system and holding provider-independent address space — a serious investment in money and paperwork. We remove that barrier: because Strike operates its own network across all three regions, you can anycast on our addresses without any of that overhead.
That lets you operate your own CDN or anycasted DNS service, or simply keep a critical service reachable from the nearest region — without ever touching an RIR or a BGP session yourself.
One IP, Three Regions
Announced from Poland, the USA, and Singapore at the same time.
Nearest-PoP Routing
Visitors are routed to the closest site automatically, cutting latency.
No ASN Needed
Skip the RIR paperwork and BGP setup — announce on our autonomous system.
CDN or Anycast DNS
Run your own content delivery or DNS anycast without dedicated IP space.
What's Included & Pricing
The anycast addon is free with an eligible trio of servers, and provided without warranties on a best-effort basis.
A single anycasted IPv4 address and a /64 anycasted IPv6 subnet per three servers — no charge.
Even Pico plans support anycast, so a full cluster can start from about €75/year.
Each additional pair — one IPv4 plus a /64 subnet — is €5/mo.
Bring your own subnet and have it anycasted for a one-time €25 setup fee per subnet.
Requirements
To activate anycast you need at least one active service in each region:
Ready to build your cluster? Deploy a qualifying server in Poland, the USA, and Singapore, then contact Technical Support to activate anycast. See our network page for looking glasses and ASN details.
Anycast FAQ
What is an anycast IP?▾
An anycast IP is a single address announced from several locations at once. Each visitor is routed to the nearest site by the internet's own routing, which cuts latency and spreads load — the technique behind large CDNs and public DNS resolvers.
Do I need my own ASN or IP space to use anycast?▾
No — that's the whole point. Normally anycast requires your own autonomous system and provider-independent address space. Because we operate our own network, you can run an anycasted cluster on our addresses without any of that investment.
How do I get anycast IPs at Strike.bz?▾
Purchase at least one server in each of our three regions, then contact Technical Support to activate anycast. Each trio of three servers includes a single anycasted IPv4 address and a /64 anycasted IPv6 subnet, free of charge.
How much does it cost?▾
The anycast addon itself is free with an eligible trio — a cluster can start from about €75/year using our smallest Pico plans. Additional anycasted IPs (a single IPv4 plus a /64 subnet) are €5/mo per pair. Anycasted BYOIP is available for a one-time setup fee of €25 per subnet.
Which plans qualify for anycast?▾
You need one active service in each region: AMD PRO Poland or Budget Intel Poland; Budget Intel USA (note: AMD PRO USA does not support anycast); and AMD PRO Singapore or Budget Intel Singapore. Even the smallest Pico plans support anycast.
Is there an SLA on anycast?▾
The anycast addon is provided free of charge and without warranties, on a best-effort basis. It's a powerful extra for building your own CDN or DNS, but it isn't sold as a guaranteed, SLA-backed product.
